This coffee maker excels at making coffee, but there are some quality issues that prevent me from giving it a higher rating. It appears that some makers have no problem filling two cups evenly. Mine, though, has problems. The diverter piece does not fit firmly into place causing it to sag on one side. This sagging causes the cup on that side to get more coffee than the cup on the other side. Since I only fill one cup at a time, this isn't an issue, but if you are planning to use it to fill two cups at a time, you may want to consider other products.
Another issue is that my mugs absorb water while being cleaned in the dishwasher. If I shake the mug, I can hear the water slosh around inside. When I make the next cup of coffee, most of the water in the mug seeps out into the drip tray of the coffee maker. The rest slowly leaks out over time. The mugs actually "groan" after being filled with hot coffee which I guess is caused by the heated water escaping through the broken seal.
Despite these flaws, though, this maker does an excellent job as a one cup coffee maker. The temperature is about perfect, it's easy to fill, it's easy to clean, and, most importantly, it makes great coffee.
