... I had been using a Cuisenart 14 cup coffee maker, drinking about 2 to 3 cups a day, and grinding my own beans every few days. The Cuisenart was an excellent product which I highly recommend, and still have for occasions when I need multiple cups. However, I cut down on my coffee consumption and found that method to be too much time, hassle, etc for a single cup of coffee each morning.
I did my usual research on amazon and decided for the price, the Hamilton Beach 3-in-1 was worth a try. Yes - it is mostly plastic, so thanks to the reviewers for pointing that out. I read the manual (always do!) and have had no problems so far (about 3 months now). I am using the cafe halo brand flavored variety packs (from Amazon - also reviewed). I use 2 pods for about 11 oz of H2O. Perfect for my tastes! ...
