... Thankfully I didn't spend my own money on this coffee maker as it was purchased by the receptionist at my office, because if I had, I would have gone back the very same day it was unpacked.
First off, the carafe is impossible to pour without spilling water/coffee everywhere, esp. with a full pot. Try as I may, the minute you start pouring, the bulk of the liquid starts running down the side of the pot as opposed to in the cup.
Second, and most importantly, the coffee from this device tastes like absolute garbage. The same coffee I use at home in my Cuisinart that tastes wonderful is somehow transformed into bitter-tasting black sludge in the B&D model. Granted, I don't expect miracles here, but it should at least be drinkable.
Bottom line: don't waste your money on this piece of crap. Anything has to be better than this. ...
